Poetic Fragments

sun kissed afternoon

along an ever winding drive

along the North Shore

time slows, and not matter

images and places

are allowed

to pass and mingle

Lake Michigan’s lapping waves

a warm fall breeze

mixing with lake gull songs

countless footprints fading

into lengths of sand

stretching far North and South

dreams, thoughts, words,

shared conversations

mixing along

many moments

of the day

stretching into evening

where the busyness

of adulthood

finds once again

pure innocence

  1. as if i was there…. beautiful

  2. Nice feeling of being laid back enjoying yourself.

  3. That was beautiful, Len. After seeing all you pictures yesterday I have a better understanding of where these words came from. By the way I really enjoy the pic’s, too.

    • Michelle,

      Thank you So Much!
I try my very best to let the readers see the world through my words.

The day along the North Shore with a friend(Suzie P) of both Jen and I. Suzie grew up in Skokie and would bike north-east along the North Shore.
Lots of History shared that day, conversations, sights and sounds, beaches…..I could go on and on.

      Best to you……Many Thanks!
