with so many different coloured leafs

the sound of bird songs overhead

lapping waves of the lake

a gentle breeze to caress my face

yet home calls my name

in her hazel eyes

her voice singing

through

the ocean’s howl

 

her golden locks

blown

so wildly

in

the ocean breeze

 

this medusa’s

rage

so cleverly disguised

 

her song

…your beckoning

to dance on the cliff’s edge

this brief enchantment

to

one’s doom

 

the ocean’s scent

the seaweed covered depths

the ocean breeze

as

she

waves
