The Emptied Tree

Time Escapes

Dulled Whimsies

All that Remain.

Lingerings  of

Cold Sensation

But What is Left?

But For

a Plethora

Empty Platitudes

Left to Ring

…Ears to Mind

Gradually Built

Over Time

To become

a Frenzied Crescendo

For the Rolling of Endless Skies

Of the

Grayed Season

Dearth of Empathy

Ghost of the Present

Ghost of the Present

Living Vicariously

Just Allowing

The Shadows to Pass

In Between Places

Hidden Regrets

Sounds from other Times

Past Places

As the

Sights Pass from Eyes

to Gray Hidden Places

Memories Off

Foggy Landscapes

Even Vaguer Recollections

Buried Deeper

Listed Between

Discerning Between

Realities and Fantasies

Mere Smoke and Ashes

Illusion #999…..

Illusion  #999…..

Divergent Pathways

Past Rolls of Lazy Grey Ambling  Clouds.

Of Unrequited Promises,

And Hinted  Conjecture.

The Rows of Hidden Purpose

and Convoluted Meanings,

Seeming to Protrude

Through the Mists of Time.

Reality being  Cold as the Marble Slab Atop…..

So Far(Journies)

Of Places Far and Wide and Close at Heart, of both Time and Timelessness.

The Time Has Already Come, a New Page Been Turned:

What Has Been Learned?

What has been Forgiven?

What has been Seen?

What of The Experiences?

Forging  Ahead to a Truer and Clearer Vision,

Left Behind the Weights and Vices of an Old Day’s Yearnings,

of No Use Going Forward

Footprints already Imprinted on the Lands………………..

The Wretch(The Return only in the Distance)

Help Save Me

Help Save Me From Myself

The Rub of Jack Ketch’s Stranglehold, the Well Weathered Three Strand Twist of Rope,

Tied Around a Denying Heart,  Forever Unrelenting ,

Steadily Pulled Down into a Foggy Morass,  Own Sentencing,

Judge, Jury, and Executioner at The Ready for Years

Layered Guilt, and Self Loathing So Deep and  Under Hard and Rocky Soils

And Time Quells Not The Cold Fears

A Freedom Only a Willingness Away

(To Openly Forgive,  be Able  to Ask Forgiveness,  Make Amends)

Outside the Lines

Ghost of a Chance

an Inner Lion Awaits The Inevitable Pouncing

Made a Victim,

By Only One’s Fated Choices

Colour a Cycle, with Past Experiences.

The Serpent Master bides It’s Time,

Whispering No More.

While the Ventose Harlequin’s Offering of a Paradoxical Stew

Starts a Melding of Thought Processes,

Labyrinthine Corridors of Morals and Standards

Varying Shades of Gray,

with a Periodic Overlay of Black.

Singularity is Nil,

As the Delirium of Madness

Casts It’s Shadows Long, Cold, and Dark,

Laughter from the Unseen Depths,

a Beckoning of Sorts.

Lunacy Be Thy Name…..
