Those precious moments
quivers
ripples
in this massive pool
this seemingly flat
blue
stilled surface
time
countless
these precious
memories
so few
from
clearest colour,
sharpest details
to those in faded blurry grays
details rubbed flat clean
those memories…
life experiences…
smiles…
joys…
triumphs…
hurts….
and pain…
one no greater
than the other
in the larger
scheme
of things
this massive collective
…..life
I am reminded of how short
55 years really is.
You will be missed…..
