Even Basho’s frog
Poetic Fragments
At
the midnight hour
we chase
our
own shadows
under
this full moon
we’ll
make
nary
a sound
passing into
morrow

Broken Prose
My friend,
you have blurred
the lines
between
reality and imagination
your
two worlds
now
bleed
into o
ne another
your
pleasure becomes pain
clarity to ambiguity
harmony turned disharmonious
symbols of peace transformed into dregs of war
how the scent of life….and hope
turned into the putrid smell of decay
end
what has been hopelessly
cracked
broken
…..inside of you?
……what
…..who
now
still dares….
to
call your name?
……what of your
dreams…..broken…..splintered
tears……
fears…..
how to look deep through your…..
front
would light
still be allowed
to filter
trickling
through countless broken prisms
oh, dear sweet dysfunction

Poetic Fragments
I listen
for the familiar echoes
with
expectations
of a
voice…touch….feelings
not to be met
now
i long
for those times
passed
distant memories
so close….
but yet
so painfully
far
i long for
your touch
….a smile
your touch
our connection
But until then
i’ll just continue
to
wait for you

Lilacia Park(Moments)
Scurrying
of chipmunks
along
these park grounds
squirrels play
endless games
chasing
up and down
these
fully leafed
trees
that tower
ever so gently
above
but not quite
yet
tickling puffy clouds
somewhere,
in the distance
birds serenade
different
tweets and peeps
nature’s song
combined
in this wild
cacophony
I humbly offer
blessings and prayers
my own voice
a smile
as my eyes
gradually
trained
upwards
this sun kissed
morning

Poetic Fragments
even
these majestic trees
towering up into the skies
above
slowly
give up their leaves
no resistance
this gently falling
nature’s timely waltz
lines, spots, colours
gradual
changing and melding
collecting
on the park
walkways and benches
the call
is it something in the song of birds?
is it something in the cool breeze?
is it something in that gentle scent?
~~~
that start of breakdown
as summer
starts
ever so gently
to bow out
giving way
to fall’s
creeping start
~~~
a smile upon my face
as I walk these
well worn paths
nature
knows
no fight
but
an easy concession
this
mid August Morning
capturing
the vibe
and
essence
of an early
October

Fade
Even now
breakdown smell
as summer gently
starts
to give way
to fall
leaves turning
gentle descent
collecting
on the park grounds
colours and flowers
fading
this cool mid august
an early morning breeze
whispers
of an early
change
